Timothy: Let’s talk about your conscience and jury duty.

God does ask in Proverbs 1:22, “How long will you simple ones love your simple ways.” Do not simp for the state for it will take your faith. Instead fight the fight of faith, win a good conscience. First Timothy 1:18-19, “Fight the good fight, hold on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith.” There is fraud in the law vengeance is labeled justice. Do not simp for the state by being filled with hate. “The goal of this command is love which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Timothy: Jacob, what would you give me for your conscience?
Jacob: What I give you for my conscience? Well, I’m not.
Timothy: Yeah. What’s the value? What would you sell it to me for?
Jacob: It’s not for sale.
Timothy: You’re sure about that?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: But we’re going to talk about the subtle way that the governing authorities, prosecutors, police get you to sell your birthright, your good conscience in Jesus Christ. Now a lot of people certainly need to give up their conscience, because they’re bad consciousness. I mean nobody has a neutral one. So, when you go in for jury duty, they are asking you in all kinds of ways and in fact in some ways they can be very direct about it to give up your conscience. You’re just supposed to look at the law, you supposed to just look at what they’re telling you and to set aside your conscience. Now kind of understand a little bit why that is, because most people have a bad conscience. We see that all the time. Of course, when they have a bad conscience, prosecutors don’t object as long as it goes in their favor. There’s a lot of trials going on around the nation right now and depending on the location where you live you already know the outcome of the trial.
If you live in Washington DC and you happen to be a Republican, you’re going to jail no matter what the evidence is. So, they really don’t mind people Living a lie thinking, oh well, just set aside your conscience because nobody does. It’s an impossible thing. You might as well go in. The judge says, in order to serve on this jury, you need to fly for three seconds by flapping your arms really hard. Could you do it?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: No of course not. It’s a stupid statement. In the same way the justice system comes assume and says, give up your conscience, set it aside and sit down here. It’s not your job to judge the law. It’s not, and again they don’t mind as long as you agree with the state. So really what people are bringing in is a bad conscience and that’s who they’re looking for are people that will simp for the state. That will set aside a good conscience if they had one in order to agree with what the state has to say. Correct Jacob?
Jacob: Oh yeah, absolutely. Although real quick, I am so not up on the hip terms, “simp”. This is a real question. So, simp is just like you have no backbone. You roll over and play dead. What is simp mean?
Timothy: Correct. It’s out there in the dating world which I’m not out there. It’s called don’t simp for a woman. A woman comes along and a man will just bend over and not be a leader and that kind of thing and so he just does whatever the woman, I don’t know. They used to call it a ring through your nose kind of thing or whatever and so Person just kind of bows down to whatever demands are put before them. So that’s where the word simp is coming from. I’m assuming most people know about it, but that may not be the case.
Jacob: Sure, but yeah that’s exactly what prosecutors do. I mean when you go in for jury selection, they want you that’s what they’re there to do is to weed out. And as long as they can mold you, they’re feeling you out for either how dumb you are or how gullible you are, or again as long as they can mold you you’re in.
Timothy: And we talked about that before. I remember the trial that we went through the hate crime that was set up by a detective in the city of Enumclaw. The first thing the prosecutors turned to the jury pool and asked, and I’m going to try to word this correctly because it’s just contrary to my whole nature. But the question was, who do you believe that you must have evidence and it put forth in a trial? A lot of, some of the people raised their hand. Well of course that that’s why you have a trials to present the evidence. Well, the prosecutors didn’t have any evidence although that’s not really true. They did have evidence. They knew there was evidence but the evidence all pointed to the police corruption in setting up a hate crime and they were participating in that. So, they had evidence and as that trial went on, did they ever present anything like any concrete statement or proof of a house layout or anything Jacob in that trial?
Jacob: No, there was no actual evidence.
Timothy: And in fact, they were very kind of sly about it. First, you get rid of people who understand what the word evidence means and we all understand that, right? Jacob, define for me evidence.
Jacob: Evidence is beyond the shadow of a doubt. It’s you can’t deny it. You bring forth a truth to show so that everyone can see what the truth is.
Timothy: I would say facts that support the accusation.
Jacob: Okay.
Timothy: If you don’t have any facts, then you’re not supporting you just have a mere accusation and that’s all this trial was about. They didn’t even bother to present facts, mainly because the facts would have demonstrated corruption on King County prosecutor’s part and the city of Enumclaw police. So, this literally was a trial without facts. The weird part that goes on that, the prosecutor and there was multiple, they didn’t just bring in one prosecutor. They have five that were part of the system and of course the idea is to break you financially so you can’t defend yourself. We’ve covered that in the past. And by the way these prosecutors were prosecutor David Seaver, Prosecutor Jason Simmons, Prosecutor Lisa Johnson, Prosecutor Mark Larson. Prosecutor Nicole Weston. Prosecutor Rich Anderson, I believe he’s the one that wore the tennis shoes in the courtroom. Is that correct Jacob? Is that correct?
Jacob: Yeah, that’s him.
Timothy: And then of course the judge was Judge Lori K Smith who’s, she’s been promoted of course because she’s willing to participate in trials with no evidence, zero evidence. You just had a person stand up and say, yeah, this happened and they didn’t present one single thing that would have supported what the person was accusing. It was an amazing thing to watch. So back again. You get rid of people that have a normal reasonable understanding of what the word evidence is. That is, okay, if somebody’s going to make an accusation then I need facts that support that specific accusation. That’s why they resorted to slander and all kinds of other things. Then once you get rid of those people that have a normal, reasonable, logical definition and understanding of what evidence is, once they’re gone, then you can turn to these group of fools and I’m using fools in the sense of proverbs that they need to repent. Now, you got a group of fools where you can redefine the word evidence. Did that make sense?
Jacob: Yeah, make sense.
Timothy: And so, you get a group of people go, okay, now evidence is well we don’t have to prove anything, all we have to do is make the accusation. You had a group of people sitting there that was their definite. They’re willing to raise their hands, oh yeah, I’ll go along with no evidence in a trial. I’m willing to participate in a trial that you’re going to put in the system and go through the court system without any evidence. I mean think about that the prosecutors all these prosecutors were admitting right up front they didn’t have any evidence. Because that’s why they asked the question.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: What these people had to do was set aside a conscience that would have said no this is wrong. In order to come in and sit down. They sold, well in this case most of them had a a bad conscience. One claimed to be a Christian. And what this person doesn’t realize is they treated the whole concept about having a good conscience in Jesus Christ with contempt. And that’s what we’re going to at today. Let’s go ahead and play the video introduction of the scriptures we’re going to look at Jacob.

Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So, Esau despised his birthright. Hebrews 12:16-17 through and Genesis 25:29 through 24. Timothy: We’re going to back up now and look at these scriptures, and the main point I want us to look at is how subtle and how easily he gave up his birthright. A good conscience in Jesus Christ is our birthright in Jesus Christ. It is a most holy thing. It’s what we inherit in Jesus Christ. When I give myself to Jesus Christ lock stock and barrel, loving the Lord my God with all my heart, all my mind and all my soul. He begins to work a good conscience within me. In order to get that good conscience, I have to suffer against sin, I have to repent of the lies and the falsehoods in my own life. It’s a very Holy thing that I treasure. And nobody’s going to be able to come along to me and say, ‘Just set your conscience aside.’ The evil one or sin is just very subtle and very smooth. He comes in. He’s hungry as the practicalities of life. And he doesn’t come in and go, sell me your conscience or sell me that birthright and then explain what the birthright is and are you sure you want to do this and that kind of thing. It’s just seems to be a normal set of event that all of a sudden produce the loss of everything that’s in Jesus Christ. Does that make sense Jacob?
Jacob: Yes. Let’s go to Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14. It says, “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy.” You got a group of people that are willing to be at peace with all men. I’m not going to be able to break this down today to find points. What I want us to look at there in verse 14 is, “And to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” A good in Jesus Christ is a holy thing. Now, you can imagine, I don’t care whether these prosecutors or police claim to be Christians or not. Day in and day out, they’re telling other people in one way or another to set aside their conscience and just focus on the law. What do you think that does to a policeman’s conscience? What do you think that does to a prosecutor? They begin then to set aside their conscience in all things.
It reminds me of Jeremiah chapter 22 verse 17. When we listed those prosecutors. This was their attitude. “But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion.” All they were doing was setting in motion to extort a conviction. That’s what all this was about. If we had to trace it all down, it was first to bankrupt us, bankrupt the business, bankrupt the church. They even knew that was coming, that’s why they asked somebody or on in a deposition. What are you going to do when your church can’t meet anymore? That was their intention. That’s what they were after, and then of course we continued to survive a little bit too long so then they pile on the charges because we wanted to go to court. We wanted the truth to come out, and then of course they picked judges and they picked prosecutors who don’t care about facts or truth or examine anything.
In fact, it’s the other way around. They knew the only way they could win is through oppression and extortion and that’s what they set into motion. And no wonder these are people that have set aside their conscience who they bring in other people asking them to set aside their conscience and most people are willing to go yeah not a problem I’ll give up my conscience in order to be a part of this or feed my pride or to participate or to support the police or the governing authorities. Hebrews 12:15. Jacob, why don’t you read that and we’re going to notice the action that needs to be going on.
Jacob: “See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.”
Timothy: In Hebrews 12:15, there’s a lot of action that’s involved and again, I’m talking about the church but also when I reach out to other people. It says, “See to it that no one misses the grace of God.” Most churches wouldn’t even think that’s like a thing to be concerned about, right?
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: Like, we’re all saved. We’re all in the same position. We all belong to Jesus Christ. Nobody’s walking around going and be careful you’re not missing the grace of God but scripture says to see to it, to put forth the effort. As I’ve repeated before, Mark Larson’s dad has started a church Downtown Seattle, they’re not running around going, well, let’s see to it that no one misses the grace of God. They’re just like the world and their attitudes and all the things that are going on in Seattle. See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter route grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
Now, that’s what these prosecutors did. They just created a bitter route within the trial. They went on for 28 days or 27 days just how self-righteous the church was, how vile this was, how casting doubt on everything. I’m not going to try and repeat it again. There’s plenty of websites out there. If you want to go to it, this is just what went on. Now, read Hebrews chapter 12 verse 16, Jacob. What does it say? One verse down.
Jacob: “See that no one is sexually immoral, or is Godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.”
Timothy: So, the first part is, “See that no one is sexually immoral.” Now, the church barely gets around on that issue. Very little energy is put forth to see to it. You can tell by the dress, the songs, the manner, the worship. Go down the list. “See that no one is sexual moral.” It requires energy. And I’ll repeat it again. Jacob, you tell me. Sound Doctrine Church we saw to it that nobody with sexual morality, right?
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: Alright, so pressing on. So as much as I would see to it that sexual sin is not going on. I should also see to it that no one is Godless like Esau. When people come in before governing authorities or jury duty and they say, simp for the state, give up your conscience, just ignore all this stuff, just do this narrow little sliver of stuff. They are Godless. I am not going to leave God outside the jury box. That’s absurd. Not even going to go close. I’m going to bring God into the situation. And what is the result? “Or is Godless like Esau who for a single meal, sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.” He gave it all up and it’s just a smooth. Look, it’s just a few sentences. He came in, he’s hungry, give me your birthright, okay, no problem, done. And then he wants it later on when he realizes what he’s done.
How many Christians are going in for jury duty and they’re not even noticing they’re selling their birthright. Not even noticing, they don’t even take it serious. They don’t bring truth or justice or a sense of good conscience in Jesus Christ into the courtroom. They just quietly go along with state. They just give it all up. For a single meal, he gave up his birthright. How many people are giving up their birthright in Jesus Christ by going along with the corruption that’s in the state? I’ll ask the obvious question. Jacob, how many churches have classes on going to jury duty in Jesus Christ?
Jacob: None.
Timothy: None. None that I know of. How many have, when’s the last time there was a seminar on let’s bring just is back in by going to jury duty and bringing in the holiness and the righteousness of God. Ever heard of it?
Jacob: No, I never heard of it.
Timothy: Now, everybody is too fat feasting on themselves in Jesus Christ and how happy they are and this is difficult stuff to go for and part of the reason is people don’t know how to get a good conscience. They don’t even believe it’s really possible. They just have whitewash. It’s just painted over. They don’t really even know how to get it. Plus, if you do figure out how to get it, there’s a of suffering involved. You have to allow God to come in and look for the parts that are impure to get a good conscience. A good conscience number one is very sensitive to sin. It’s very sensitive to the conviction by God and people in the church especially don’t like conviction. They actually use the blood of Jesus Christ as an excuse to get out from conviction, do, don’t they?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: Verse 17 says, “Afterward as you know when he wanted to inherit this blessing. He was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind though he sought the blessing with tears”. This is the consequences when we begin to just set our mind aside, our conscious aside, the truth of God aside. When we haven’t studied and persevered and look what is justice, what is going on. Jacob, you know that on my desk in the church office that I had, I had a plaque that said serve justice and justice alone. Because people would come to me all the time with decisions, with problems, what’s going on, and there always had to be, what is the justice? What’s the holiness? What’s the truth? What’s righteous here? This wasn’t just some like, well let’s just go jury duty and all of a sudden, we’re going to cram and try and study on what justice is. It takes, it takes the holiness of God. Remember, without that holiness, no one will see the Lord.
These people that are just simping for the state or caving in. There needs to be some serious prayer, fasting, examination, wrestling out, what is justice, how do we serve our jury duty, what do we do, how do we stand up to the state, how do we acknowledge when they’re right. Everything about a Christian is holy, that is it is separate, it is distinct, it is different. Let’s go to Genesis chapter 25 verse 29 and look at this story a little more in detail. Jacob, will go ahead and read 29 through say, let’s go to 34.
Jacob: Okay, Genesis 25 verse 29. And we’re going 29 to what?
Timothy: 34.
Jacob: Okay. “Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew, I’m famished”. That is why he was also called Edom”. Jacob replied, “First, sell me your birthright”. “Look, I’m about to die”, Esau said. “What good is that birthright to me?” But Jacob said, “Swear to me first. So, he swore an oath to him selling his birthright to Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank and then got up and left. So, Esau despised his birthright”.
Timothy: How many Christians going to jury duty despise the birthright of Jesus Christ? The most holy thing they’ll just set it aside for the state and not bring in any type of holiness. “First sell me your birthright. Look, I’m about to die. Oh, I have to follow the law. It’s supposed to be submissive. You go down all the lines people have their, they’re not really paying attention to the argument. I mean think about that I’m sitting in a jury pool and a prosecutor turns to me and goes how many of you believe in convicting somebody without evidence. Really? And there’s a group of people that are going, yeah, sounds good to me.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: We can go just think of this as parenting. Bring your child in and go, yeah, I’m going to punish you for this. Just make up something. Well, you don’t have any proof. You don’t have any evidence. Nah, it doesn’t matter. I’m just going to do it anyway. We would call that at best. What? Bad parenting. At worst, it’s abuse and that’s exactly what’s going on. First, sell me your birthright. It’s just a smooth conversation here. I don’t I’m not sensing, well, the emotion all on the side of Esau, but you can see kind of Jacob like just tell me your birthright, I’m kind of in charge here.
Jacob: It’s almost like a joke or something or yeah, it’s so casual because then Esau, it’s like look I’m about to die. Of course, that’s a whole another like exaggeration. But he’s kind of like it’s out of nowhere too, because Esau’s like what I’m like about to die, I’m hungry. Like what are you talking, birthright? Like what it’s kind of? And then he’s like, but then Jacob’s serious, like well no say it and he’s like, okay fine, I don’t care.
Timothy: You bring up a good point. He’s not really paying attention to the conversation. So, most people are listening to these prosecutors, the judges were not really paying attention to what’s being said. So that’s a very good point. Comes in, first sell me your birthright. Look, look at me. Look at the I’m about to die. Well, you already. So, that that sounds like a prosecutor. You got somebody on trial and they’re just hyping things to the extreme. Look, I’m about to die. Look how evil he is or look how evil and wicked he is. I mean, there were people even I can remember one of the persons that was slandering big time. Somehow there was a picture me up there or something. I can’t remember what it was and they said, oh that’s just gluttony. I mean, you’re slandering me. I’m not even on trial. I’m not even testifying, not even doing anything.
Mid Point
This was an opportunity to vent to bring out all the hatred and the bitterness people because they wouldn’t repent and so the prosecutor said, just lie. Set aside your conscience. Everybody just lie and say everything they want to say because we’ll win by oppression and extortion. Look, I’m a about to die. What good is that birthright to me? But Jacob said, swear to me first. So, he ups it. He sees he’s got him. He brings him in. The jury pools there. Swear to me. How he that he is really up the game. So, he swore on oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob. And we’ll get in some other podcast about swearing oaths in a little bit. For now, you can say your words mean something. God will hold every juror that has served on a jury for a guilty plea or for that matter for an innocent plea or letting them be declared innocent or guilty. He will hold them accountable for the words.
Our words carry eternal life or eternal death in them. They go on their way. Swear to me first. He swears. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. Very minor. Very simple. Yeah, I went and did jury duty. I sat down listened to this one having to be a little long. It was way out of the norm. They sat down went home. Yeah, I went to jury duty. I did this thing. Little stew went on. Just ate and drank and went on with their life and just left. Went on. So, Esau despised his birthright. He just despised it. I’ve yet to have anybody come back from jury pool and say, you know what? I have misgivings about what went on. I’m beginning to see things I didn’t see before. I got caught up in the emotions of what went on. Remember when I said I served on the jury many years ago, Jacob, do you remember him mentioning that?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: The situation was this, a woman had brought in a car to be repaired and it should been like $75 let’s say. But the person that did the repair shop charge them $450. So, they get in an argument, they get in a fight, she grabs the ticket or the bill, runs out of the parking lot. He runs out to get the bill from her. They toss it around and I think he or she I forget which one, I think she dropped to the ground. Because as they’re pulling on the ticket or the bill, you know how it is you’re tuggling and one let’s go or it slips out of the hand and then you just a trip, right? So that’s what all this was about.
The end of the result was he was half guilty. She shouldn’t have taken the ticket. That’s once she does that the proof of what he did or didn’t do is gone from his hands. So, she’s running out and seeing what he’s got. He was still guilty for other things that he did, associated with the case. The judge turned and said, “Well, that’s the right decision. Found half guilty, half innocent”. But I was concerned. I wanted to know was he ripping people off, because that’s not what the trial was about. The trial wasn’t about is he ripping people off for bills like is most people coming in with a $50 or $75 work that needs to be done on the car or the vehicle and then he upset the $500 and then you’re stuck to pay. That’s what I wanted to know. So, I had somebody in the church take the car in and I knew what they need. It was either an oil change or something like that. Sure enough, Sure enough, he charged them 450 bucks.
Now, I was concerned enough that if I served on a jury, I want to see where he was guilty. There’s nothing I could do about it but well, let me back up. I did. I rebuked them. One of them actually claimed to be a Christian pastor and I came back at him and I rebuked him solid. Of course, you can imagine what the reaction was I got back but I want to prove. I want to know what was going on. So, don’t think this is some abstract thing. If I serve on a jury pool and I find out that the prosecution and the judges and I’ve been manipulated. I’m Going to come back at them with the truth. I’m going to hunt this down because the consequences are huge. Any questions or comments on that Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Alright, let’s go ahead and go on to the next topic and how most people’s Christianity is just meaningless talk because they have decided they’re not even going to strive to get a good conscience.
Video: The summons for jury duty arrives. Dutifully, I plotted down to the courthouse and joined the jury pool. The judge, police, and prosecutor demanded I put aside my good conscience. Nuts to that. I will not set aside the love of Jesus for man’s law. I will not defile a pure heart that I have struggled to obtain by the grace of God. I will not choke attempt for the good conscience God has painful worked in my soul. My Christianity is not meaningless talk. First Timothy chapter 1 verse 5-6. “The goal of this command is love which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith”. Timothy: Jacob, go ahead and read first Timothy 1:5.
Jacob: “The goal of this command is love which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith”.
Timothy: I think everybody seems to think or believe that they come to Jesus Christ and all of a sudden, they get a pure heart and a good conscience, right? In fact, they claim like oh I have sincere faith so it must follow I have a pure heart and a good conscience. Those things require suffering with Jesus Christ. Again, I’ve been crucified with Christ. You pick up your cross daily. The deep conviction comes. The goal of this command is love. This is something you built up. It’s a goal that you have to go for. It just not fairy dust. Jesus is not some type of fairy dust. He sprinkles on your head that somehow, okay, well, you got a pure heart and a good constant faith. That’s all Jesus see. No, that’s not how it works. You’re to be discipled by Jesus Christ.
“The goal of this command is love”. All of this must come from all the love for prosecutors, a love for judges, a love for the person accused, a love for the person testifying, the love for somebody that’s been wounded by somebody who actually committed crime. Love should be what we springing from bail. So, when we’re talking about going in for jury duty what we’re talking about is the courtroom’s going to say leave aside love. They’re not going to tell you, well, bring in love, bring in a pure heart, bring in a good conscience, bring in a sincere faith. Into the jury box, that’s not what they want you. They want you to take and set all those things aside so that you will bow down to the state and give the prosecution, the conviction, the guilty verdict that they so lust for. In a church we don’t see. Do you see revivals or calls for week-long conventions to say we want to get a pure heart? We want to get a good conscience. We want to make sure we have a sincere faith.
Of course, not because that will require suffering and your attendance levels going to go way down. But if you promote a white war, so you can quote the words if you want. If you promote the white wars, they’re going to flood in, pay the whatever the fee is to hear the sermon be all puffed up. Most people just have been in the when it comes to Jesus Christ. They quote scripture, they pray, they go to church, they tithe, they do whatever. First Timothy 1:6. Now, notice the fierce three words there, Jacob. Read me the first three words of first Timothy 1:6.
Jacob: “Some have wondered”.
Timothy: Some have wondered away. We’re back to Esau again. Isn’t it kind of just this wondering this little twist or turn or I think it said if you go hiking and you don’t look at something in front of you, you just walk in a circle? You just slow wander away from where you’re headed. Satan is very subtle. Come in, do jury duty. Oh, you’re a part of the system. You’re a part. You’re going to do something meaningful here. You’re going to find somebody guilty here. I don’t know what he whispers to everybody or what goes on there. But the point is it’s just a slow turning. All of a sudden, we don’t realize it. The day after day, just a little bit of turning away from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith and all of a sudden, our Christianity at the end of the day is nothing more than meaningless talk. If you don’t have a good conscience, which means what? Am I going to give up my conscience for the state? I don’t. Again, I don’t think so. We’re just not going to go there. I probably would have to go to jail because I refuse to do so and they’re going to put me in jail because I won’t give up my good conscience for the state.
Some have wandered away from these and turn to meaningless talk. Oh, that the church was working out their salvation fear and trembling. Everybody wants justice or at least they say that. Everybody wants to see the police reformed or I don’t know maybe not reform. They just want to bring them back with more abusive power. We wander away from truth. We wander away from love. We wander away from a good conscience and our Christianity just becomes meaningless talk because we do not demand justice and justice alone. In fact, verse 7 says, “They want to be teachers of the law”. You might as well just put it. The lawyers of the day are just the Pharisees of old. That’s all happen.
“They want to be teachers of the law but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm”. I remember the appeal process is written by the prosecutors. I think it was David Siever. At the end of it he said, yeah, the defense wants to examine what the policeman did and I’m thinking does anybody read this? Are these judges actually looking at that? What he says at the botPaul of the appeal is yeah don’t let the defense know what the police did. They knew that what he did was criminal. They knew they were covering it up and the judges just go, oh yeah, why not? Not a problem. No, we’re not going to let him happen. So, they can get the appeal to even bring out what the detective done. Never mind. They’ve already whitewashed that and covered that up on multiple levels. They want to be teachers the law. They don’t even look at the law. Are we not evident by now of watching the court system?
They just make up whatever they want to make up. They just say whatever they want to say. No, there’s this veneer. There’s this white horse that were follow the law but you know it’s being twisted and perverted and pushed and chuffed and they’re not putting forth the spirit of the law or the spirit of truth. They’re not bringing in evidence. They’re holding stuff back. It goes on and on and on. Someday, we’ll probably do a whole show of a bunch of video clips of this stuff going on. They want to be teacher’s law. They want to claim to be lawyers. Oh, we’re massive prosecutors but they do not know what they’re talking about or what they so confidently affirm. We know the law is good. First Timothy 1:8. Let me repeat that and slow down. “We know that the law is good”. And here’s the key. “If one uses it properly”. Is the United States legal system using the law properly, Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Not even close. In fact, prosecutors try to find the way that they can bend and use it improperly and just not get caught. There is policeman after policemen doing what? Using the law improperly. All they’re all confident we’re all protecting all the things that they say. But we know as Christians with a good conscience and a sincere faith and a pure heart that the law is only good. The law is only good if it is being used properly. It was very clear in this trial as in many other trials the law is not being used properly and so it’s of no value. It is just corruption, extortion, oppression, and innocent people are being destroyed whether that person’s guilty of a crime or not, they destroy everybody and everyone that they can get a hold of. Verse 9 says, “We also know the law is made not for the righteous but for law breakers and rebels, the ungodly, and the sinful, the unholy, the irreligious, for those who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers for adulterers and perverts”.
Now, we already talked about in this particular passage that’s not just sexual perverts and I know that’s what we tend to look at. But the law is made for perverts of jurisprudence. Those who come along and twist and pervert the law, for slave traders, liars and perjurers. You see, we had a whole one witness after another. Purging themselves, lying to this. He had one witness saying, oh yeah, I talked to policeman at the police station. The policeman says, I know I talked to her at home. They’re all lying and they’re doing this out in open court. Judge Lori K Smith had absolutely no problem with this. She had no problem with the detective sitting down in a room with a girl with that policeman instructing her on what to say and how to say it turning recorder on and off. No problem whatsoever. She should have overturned this thing. By the time she heard and saw all the corruption that went on this trial, she should’ve overturned what the jury came back when they said, this is nuts. This is a crime and I want to research and what this policeman and what this town, the city Enumclaw was doing and how everything, how the law got all twisted up and perverted. Amen to that Jacob.
Jacob: Amen.
Timothy: Alright and if you don’t think there’s something covered in here, I’ll let you read first Timothy 1:10 ten, Jacob.
Jacob: “For adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine”.
Timothy: I love it when people go well that particular sin is not listed in scripture. But yeah, there it is verse 10. And whatever else, whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed god which he entrusted to me. Anything else. He just listed some of them liars, perjurers. Why do you think King County prosecutors of Seattle Washington and for that matter probably prosecutors across the country? Will not prosecute liars and perjurers they just won’t do it. Now, let me rephrase that. Any liar or perjure that helps the prosecution, they won’t prosecute.
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: Those they put up front and put on display. So, I need to be very careful here with my words but I’m not a lawyer. I’m not attempting to play a lawyer; we’re looking at the truth. Anything that doesn’t conform. Anything, whether it’s that judge or the Bailiff or the prison warden or whoever it is, anything that doesn’t conform to the glorious gospel, the blessed God will be rebuked will be judged by God and judgement will come. This is not just some game but how many people are walking to a courtroom claiming to be a Christian casually setting aside their conscience? Setting aside their pure heart. Oh yeah, I’ll help the state. In fact, they might even quote the scripture. I need to be submissive to governing authorities. Yeah, right. Yeah, that doesn’t mean a mindless submission. We have to realize where we’re headed here. If you were in Russia, Jacob and you were call to be in jury duty and you know the conviction is solemn. They’re just bringing the show trial. Would you participate in that?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Of course not. Well, the same thing’s happening in United States.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: It is so convoluted. They’re bringing in people. The evidence is so mixed up with all kinds of slander and procedures. They confuse they’re hiding stuff. They’re keeping stuff in the dark. They’re manipulating jurors and who sits on the jury. How we can participate in these things as Christians. I’m not telling you not to show up for jury duty. I’m not telling you to go either. But I’m you bring in the holiness of God when you go there.
Jacob: Also, we don’t really even have time to jump back to the Esau story. But it’s interesting how Jacob and Esau are brothers. So even you would almost assume that like your brother wouldn’t take advantage of you with the whole birthright situation. But how much more, if you’re a Christian well I hope that you’re going in. Yeah so, I guess so many Christians are actually sort of delusional. We’ve actually covered this. How you know oh the state is there to do their job and blah blah blah and so just you’re walking in there and then how easy it is to then Yeah, do whatever simp for the state. But as true Christians, if you look around and you know how perverted the justice system is, we should be on an even more. Like if you’re going to walk through those doors, you should be on a very heightened state about what is going on in your surroundings so then it’s not, so you don’t just cave in to exactly what they want. You should be on guard if you walk through those court doors.
Timothy: And I’m going to even aim in and up that one. When you’re go to jury duty and you’re sitting in that pool, God has you there to witness to those people around you. Telling them not to be simps for the state. Discussing what’s going on. I’m telling you state’s going to like you. It’s called persecution. You might even be prosecuted for it. I don’t really know.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: But the point is we’re there. If you go to jury duty and God sends you there, you’re there to be a witness to everybody around you to be holy and Different in everything that you do. But it’s not that’s why in scripture says God will judge the church first. When we see Seattle burning down or when you see drugs being let loose in the society. When you see lawless borders. It’s really the church that’s to blame. They’re too busy praising God inside the church to do anything about it. Imagine all the people in this nation that claim to be Christians. You’re telling me they’re not going to jury duty. Where’s the effect? Where’s the salt? Where’s the light in all of this? Where’s the persecution that’s come? Because you show up for Judy Dewey and you actually bring in the truth. The truth of the glorious Gospel and call out the things that are crooked. That’s not going on.
So, the reason the United States is in the mess that it’s in so fast is because of the church first. Because of the church first. Jacob, let’s go ahead and begin to kind of wind things down. Let’s talk about shipwrecking one’s faith.

Timothy: First Timothy 1:18. “Timothy my son. I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you. So that by following them you may fight the good fight”. People talk about putting up a good fight. But what’s a good fight? Verse 19. “Holding on to faith and a good conscience”. Holding on to faith and good conscience. We already know Satan controls the government. He’s going to use governing authorities to destroy our faith. People talk about at but what they don’t talk about is holding on to good conscience. Do we not realize Satan is using everything both subtly and eventually he’ll come along with much stronger things to get us to give up a good conscience? It says, “Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith. You give up a good conscience, you shipwreck your faith”. Let me repeat that. You give up a good conscience. You surrender to the forces that are telling you to give up your conscience Your good conscience and you will have shipwrecked your faith in Jesus Christ. Anything on that Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Let’s do a little repeat and go to Proverbs chapter 28 verse 5. Jacob, go ahead and read that.
Jacob: “Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the lord understand it fully”.
Timothy: And we covered that in a couple podcast back, right?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: Alright. Let’s go to Proverbs 28 verse 4 the verse right above this verse, verse 5 says evil men do not understand justice. Don’t expect the justice system to actually understand justice. They’d have to be in Jesus Christ fully picking up their cross, following hard After god, giving up everything to follow him to in order to have a pure heart and a good conscience. So, evil men do not understand justice. That judge saying there doesn’t understand justice. He does not understand it. He may understand his letter of the law. I’ll get sidetracked here a little bit but it’s easy to predict, well, if they’re a conservative judge, they’re going to rule this way. If they’re a liberal judge, they rule this way, right?
Well, how is that possible? How’s that possible except everybody just bringing in their opinion? There clearly is no understanding about what justice is, otherwise you wouldn’t find this constant contrast of different individuals just because they’re on some political spectrum that it would come out a certain way. But we all know, if you go to this court or this circuit 9 or whatever it is, you’re going to be trashed in this way or depending on your viewpoint you’re going to think it’s good. “So, evil men do not understand justice but those who seek the lord understand it fully”. Now look at what verse four says and this is what we’re talking about and this is what the church needs to do and this where the training and it’s getting late. It’s getting late to train. Some people are going to learn but they’re going to learn the hard way and many people are going to find out their faith was shipwrecked a long time ago. And I pray that anybody and everybody that was associated with this hate crime on jury duty or whatever would repent.
Proverbs 28 verse 4, “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked”. Those who forsake the law, praise the wicked. The law of God, the holiness of God, the Righteousness, the truth, and that’s what we see going on in the justice system today. It’s beginning to run amuck. But those who keep the law. Those who keep the law, those who understand what is it they do, Jacob? What does verse 4 of Proverbs 28 state that they do? Do they go do jury duty? Did they just go to the picnic? Do they just pray for people in prison? What do they do? What does it say they actually do?
Jacob: “They resist them”.
Timothy: They resist them. But those who keep the law, God’s law resist them.
