Timothy: Let’s consider the faith healers that laid their hands and prayed for Donald Trump.
Intro: Welcome to the Consider Podcast where we turn our minds to consider wisdom, madness and folly. Join the host Timothy and Jacob on a quest to have God enlighten the mind according to verse 25 of Ecclesiastes chapter 7. So, I turned my mind to understand. To investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly. Ecclesiastes 7:25. The Consider Podcast examining today’s events and Paulorrow’s realities at www.consider.info.
Timothy: How’s it going today, Jacob?
Jacob: It’s going good.
Timothy: Do you know a group of faith healers laid their hands on Trump and prayed over him obviously concerning the presidency and everything?
Jacob: I haven’t, I don’t know about the specific one that happened recently. There’s been a lot of that kind of stuff though certainly that has already happened to in the past I know.
Timothy: Yeah, we’re going to talk about that today and as we move into that first, I want to play a clip from individual named Charlie Kirk has to do was saving America. He started an organization. He’s done some things. So, go ahead and play that particular clip of him talking about saving America, saving the culture of America.
Video Clip:
Man: Who are you?
Charlie Kirk: My name is Charlie Kirk and I love America.
Man: Why are you here?
Charlie Kirk: Because I love talking with people I disagree with.
Man: What have you done for your country?
Charlie Kirk: Start an organization that’s now on a 1000+ campuses to save the greatest culture and country ever to exist.
Man: What’s with the camera? Is that necessary?
Charlie Kirk: Well, considering I’ve been assaulted, followed, stalked, and had things thrown at me, the greatest protection I have is cameras. We record all of it so that we put on the internet so people can see these ideas collide. When people stop talking, that’s when you get violence. That’s when civil war hangs, because you start to think the other side is so evil and they lose their humanity. Marriages break apart when you stop talking, churches fall apart and I think what makes this country on the verge of going to a place we don’t want it to go right now is we’re afraid to go to places like this and have these conversations. I’m not.
Timothy: Everything he’s doing is wrong. He’s trying to save America. Did Jesus come to us and tell us to save America, Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: I don’t recall anywhere where Paul was trying to save Rome. Rome was considered the culture of cultures way back when and there I’m going to say this loosely with a lot of big air quotes. There were some good things about Rome. Rome, they did the roads for us and everything. So, you could save the culture. It gives you an avenue to preach the gospel. But is there anything anywhere even close to Paul trying to save the culture of Rome or to increase the culture of the world, anywhere?
Jacob: No, Abraham look forward to a kingdom and a place you know not here that’s what scripture talks about and we’re supposed to be like him.
Timothy: Yeah. Charlie Kirk and those that are following them. You can’t believe the Bible. Let’s look at Luke chapter 4 verse 5 and then we’re actually going to play a clip of this particular scripture in a moment. But I want to talk about it a little bit here first. Did God come along and then go yeah, all the kingdoms of the world are evil and bad except for America?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: He just doesn’t have eyes to see that America was never been, never has been the greatest culture in the history of mankind. Verse 5 says, “The devil led Jesus up to a high place”. Remember we looked at that a couple shows back about high places. What we have here is Jesus Christ and then our high place called America. Let him up to place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. Now would all the kingdoms of the world include the United States of America from its inception to its destruction Jacob?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Satan is in charge of all of this. If there’s any good in any culture that’s God just holding back that which Satan owns. But it’s completely foolish to suggest that any government was good in and of itself and worth saving. Never mind that that’s what we’re called to go preach and it’s an impurity that Ephesians says, we’re not to be partners with. “But the devil led Jesus up to high place showed him in an instant all the kingdom of the world. He said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want”. God clearly gave for his own purposes the government to Satan, right?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Isn’t that what it’s saying there?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: So, Charlie Kirk is really fighting against God. This is a classic case of Saul where to obey the voice of God is better than sacrifice. He’s got all these sacrifices. All these things he’s doing. All the things he’s gone through. But they’re not the sufferings of Jesus Christ. They’re not anything remotely with Jesus Christ. It’s just one person with an ideology that have its attack on Jesus in there. And another person with an ideology that doesn’t like Jesus all and they’re just clashing but it’s fool hardly to suggest. It’s even more foolish to create a ministry and organization whatever to try and save America. That’s not where the energy the church or true disciples of Jesus Christ need to be at. Anything on that before we move forward Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Go ahead and play that that clip again of the scripture and let this sink in that every government, it’s just because we don’t have holy enough eyes to see that the United States never has been the greatest culture in the world. Now would I rather live in the United States of course versus Russia, although that all of that’s changing. It’s starting to kind of they call the Uni-party we’ll talk about the or the uni-world where everything’s coming together under corruption. That’s because it’s all been there all along. Read the scripture, because we need to move on Jacob
Video: Into the desert, hunger, thirst, deprivation. Satan whispers an offer, “I will give you this”. “I will give you all the government’s through-out time their authority and splendor, if you worship me”. Luke chapter 4 verse 5. Satan was not bluffing – The governments are his to give. The Consider Podcast. Examining today’s madness, folly, and wisdom. www.consider.info.
Timothy: Let’s go to Hebrews chapter 11 starting in verse 13 and this is the point that you hinted at earlier. We discussed it in the past but I need to remind everybody. We need to look at this carefully but moving on quickly. Hebrews 11:13 says, “All these people were still living by faith when they died”. So, this is all a matter of true faith in Jesus Christ. Says, “They did not receive the things promised”. So, you’re not going to see America revived or saving the culture. “They only saw them and welcome them from a distance”. In other words, righteousness, holiness, purity, a government that is actually worthy of anything is in heaven. And they admitted that they were alien to strangers on Earth.
I’m willing to fully admit. I don’t fit in the United States. It’s too impure. It’s corrupt. It’s ready for destruction. I live here as an alien. I can’t relate to anything they’re doing. Even the parts that you consider good culture. I reject fully, because they’re impure. They always lead to destruction. Look, I’ve seen a lot of elections and every election, there’s always these prophecies, these comments from the spirit, these praying over certain people that they’re going to win the presidency. So far that hasn’t happened or maybe it has, but what’s been the end result for the last 40 years of trying to revive America? Where are we at Jacob?
Jacob: It’s only gotten worse.
Timothy: It’s only gotten worse. Now consider that. For at least 40 years that I know of from personal experience and actually longer than that at this point. There’s always been this, oh if my people would but repent, I would pour blessings on the land and always everybody Praying for revival and to try and save America. Spending energy, millions of dollars, all kinds of prayers and efforts going out to save America. Well, with all of that going on, why are things worse off than they’ve ever been?
Jacob: Why? Because we’re marching towards the end times. It’s going to get really bad.
Timothy: It’s going to get really bad. And you’re not going to be able to reform the governments of the world. They can only be overthrown by the government of Jesus Christ. And he’ll do that as soon as he gets back. Hebrews 11:15. If they had been thinking, oh I’m sorry. Verse 14 & 15 and. You read that Jacob.
Jacob: “People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return”.
Timothy: Those who belong to Jesus Christ or those who have been walking by faith even from the Old Testament times, were they able to find a country?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: No, but did they even get together and go, you know what? Let’s create a good country. In fact, many times that’s been tried and it’s failed every single time. Bonhoffer, who everybody extolls as a very spiritual man tried to form a Christian government by, and in the process, it was going to topple Nazi Germany or Hitler and established this Christian nation. Did it happen? No. It’s just not going to happen because the governments belong to Satan. He has the authority of those governments in his hands. Now, is God controlling things and holding things back? Yes, scripture says that to be true but Satan is in charge of the United States.
I want to repeat that. Satan is in charge of the United States and he’s not going to give that up until Jesus comes along and deals with him. Verse 15, “If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return”. In other words, there was no good culture that they left and there’s no good culture to go to, we can only look forward heavenward to that heavenly country. Verse 16 says, “Instead of trying to save America”, or I don’t know, save Jerusalem or save whatever country over here, right? “Instead, they were longing for a better country– a heavenly one”.
Why am I trying to save a trash can full of all kinds of trash. You can’t bring a culture anyway out of the mass killing and murders of babies and the injustice and everything goes on. I guess I’m frustrated because the overwhelming evidence is that America is 100% corrupt. Correct?
Jacob: Correct. It’s 100% guilty.
Timothy: That’s even a better way to put it. It’s 100% guilty and it has to be paid for. “Instead, they were longing for a better country — a heavenly one”. What is God trying to tell us in Hebrews 11:16? There isn’t going to be one here because it’s a heavenly one. Read that first part Jacob, because let’s just really hone in on that.
Jacob: “Instead, they were longing for a better country — a heavenly one”.
Timothy: A heavenly one. “Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them”. Charlie Kirk and these people that are in this political conservative mixed up kind of like I got Jesus over here and I’ve got America here and all these. They’re going to, God’s going to be ashamed of them because they’re taking the pure, holy, most lovely gospel of Jesus Christ and they are tainting that by using his name to create a good government. Anything you want to add to that, Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Why do we find this huge movement to save America? Because it’s huge and it’s a deep thing and it’s all mixed up in churches everywhere. What’s the underlying sin that’s allowing this to take place Jacob?
Jacob: Everybody wants whatever they want.
Timothy: Correct. When push comes to shove, what’s exposed there is we want our white middle-class lifestyle. We want our freedom of speech. We want prosperity. We want, we want, we want.
Jacob: Good times.
Timothy: Good times will happen. Whether that’s be spiritual good times or whether be anything else that we’ve got. There’s always, we want to save our life. In other words, a true Christian or disciple of Jesus Christ can’t wait to get this life finished up to go into the heavenly city. Look at Mark chapter 8 verse 35. What it comes down to is selfishness. We want Trump to win for selfish reasons or we want Charlie Kirk and all the multitude of other people trying to bring Jesus in an American. Because we want something. Who doesn’t want to in their flesh be comfortable? Who doesn’t want freedom of speech. Very few of us actually desire like Paul to delight in hardships and persecutions and those kinds of things.
The suffering, the true servants of Jesus Christ that have in that Charlie Kirk thing, he should have turned to her, I want to save your soul. I want you to repent and be baptized and hate your own life and go down all the sins. Instead, it’s this America Jesus kind of thing. It’s no wonder she’s walking away going, this is not. Inside, she knows that whether she’s thinking it or not. I couldn’t tell you. Mark 8:35. “Whoever wants to save his life will lose it”. The common denominator in all of these things are that people want to save their life. Whether it save their family. How much emphasis there’s always mixed in with my family over here and America over here and God here, right?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Never mind and I’m going to deviate from this topic a little bit. This whole emphasis on family is our personal little family, not the family of God. I belong to the largest family or one of the most pure families going and that is the family of Jesus Christ. All other family ties do not matter and they are in the way unless they are repenting and unless they are disciples of Jesus Christ. So, when we say we want to save America, we want to save our family and our picnics and whatever it is that we like. Why? Okay, “Whoever wants to save his life will lose it”, right? Whoever loses his life for me and for what? Jacob, what does it say in Mark 8:35? “You can’t just lose your life”. Charlie Kirk is losing his life so to speak. Trump is losing his life in a lot of ways and I’m kind of using in the context of the sentence. But what does it go on to say, Mark 8:35?
Jacob: “For me and for the gospel”.
Timothy: Correct. It has to be losing one’s life for and only Jesus Christ. No other reason. Not for money, not for prosperity, not for freedom, not for family, not for friends, not for your comfort. On down the list of what it means to hate your own life and follow Jesus Christ. And then on top of that once you’ve given up your life or in the process of losing life every day. When I get up, I lose this hour. I lose this moment. I let it go to the will of God and that can go in any directions as you will know and for the gospel. The focus is only Jesus Christ will save it. Only those that are focused on one thing. Losing their life, well, more than one thing. Losing their life and following Jesus Christ for the sake of the gospel, the pure gospel. Not in America, God and Jesus and apple pie are not the Gospel. Anything on that, Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: In first Corinthians chapter 2:2, Paul says and puts it this way. “My words were a little many for I resolved”. This is going to take resolved. It’s going to be hard as the political season moves into focus not to like, okay, who you voting for? What’s going on to talk about the issues? And I’m not telling you, you can’t vote and I’m not telling you, you can’t talk about it. It’s not my point. But Jacob when I kind of go, how’s the weather, you know, and what are we doing over here? What are we doing over there and or yeah, well, we’re getting this over here, right? It’s just all that like surface talk to move on to deeper things, correct?
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified”. That’s it. Charlie Kirk, Trump, everybody that’s around him. There’s only one resolve. That’s Jesus Christ crucified. The crucified life should be the only thing coming out of our mouths and we’re debating with the gospel. When I’m sharing the gospel next door with somebody, I don’t go, well, here’s the principles to investing properly in Jesus Christ’s of that. No, it’s only Jesus Christ who crucified and what God wants done with anything. Whatever happened to save yourself from this corrupt generation. It is not America corrupt?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Was it not corrupt, 10 years ago, 15 years ago, down to the Civil War Times all the way back. Was it even corrupted its founding? I mean, corruption is just in everything that’s going on, right?
Jacob: Yes. Rebellion from the start. That’s how America started from. Rebellion.
Timothy: Exactly. What happened to the gospel call where we’re calling people to save themselves from this corrupt generation. Acts chapter 2 verse 40. The sermon of Peter with many other words he warned them and he pleaded with them. Save yourselves from this corrupt generation. What happened to that gospel call? This is just a corrupt generation. What happened to coming out and being separate? Verse 41 says, “Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about 3000 were added to their number that day”. It says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship and to the breaking of bread”. What happened to this message? What happened to this message of love like this is the fellowship. This is the church. This is the purity. This is the holiness.
What happened to all of that Jacob? It’s all mixed up now with some cultural Christianity that’s mixing with conservative values and we’re hoping that Trump and other people are going to be able to what? What do they really, what do they expect to happen Jacob?
Jacob: They expect America to be saved.
Timothy: Well, what would that mean? Let’s just say Charlie Kirk gets everybody out there like to save the culture. What does he mean by that? What does it mean if we go, okay, Trump get in there and save America and bring concerns. What, please outline for me exactly what you mean by what’s the end goal? Because I don’t, of course I haven’t dug into it. Maybe has an end goal. What are those end goals? Anybody know?
Jacob: I don’t think it’s an end goal. I think we’ve covered this a little bit like the Anthony Singer guy. And everybody wants to go back to like the good old days, but then of course if you rewind to go back to the good old days, you’ll just find more corruption and selfish ambition and all the garbage that has always been there. So, it’s really a lie. But anyway.
Timothy: It’s a lie from get go. It’s a waste of time. This is not what the church should be doing to get ready. This is not the message to go out. Go ahead.
Jacob: Charlie Kirk does claim to be like a Christian, Christian he says. Like I’m a Christian, Christian. I’m just checking because I don’t know anything about Charlie Kirk.
Timothy: Oh yeah.
Jacob: Okay.
Timothy: Let me read from his website. Charlie knows that if quote, I’m reading him, Charlie knows that if we can save the youth of today, we will save America for all of us. But so much of that important work starts with turning them back to God. That’s why Charlie’s news division Turning Point Faith is introducing Saving America with Charlie Kirk. A daily 26-minute Christian program specifically designed for the nation’s Christians Teaching and Talk radio stations.
Jacob: Okay, I was just asking but yes, it’s very clear.
Timothy: No, is that clear? I’m glad you asked.
Jacob: I just changed it. I don’t know anything about Charlie Kirker.
Timothy: Me neither. Well, I caught this clip and I knew, okay, he’s claiming to be a Christian went by his websites and so on. Okay, was that clear enough that he claims to be a Christian?
Jacob: Yes, very clear.
Timothy: Number, first of all, this is delusional on the first line. You’re going to save enough youths of America, enough youths of America are going to become true disciples of Jesus Christ, hating their own life, hating their father and their mother, their wife and children to follow Jesus Christ to save America, to save the culture. Really, clearly your concept of what it means to be a Christian must be so loosey goosey such likable legalism that the most, what the worthless kind of like yeah Jesus exist. I know, let’s trap Elon Musk into saying Jesus is Lord, right?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: What is this? There’s no saltiness here. Not that I can see.
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Alright, so what we should be preaching and saying is, save yourself from this corrupt generation. And maybe the one or two people out of all of these people will come to the census and it’s not going to save America, it’s only going to save their souls. Comments before we play the faith healers in Iowa praying over Trump.
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Let me give a little bit of admonishment here. Don’t lump all of this criticism of Trump into all the criticism that’s out there. This is part of the problem reaching the gospel. These kinds of individuals. They’re so heavily persecuted and in this case being prosecuted that every criticism is them lumped in together and you really just can’t hear what God is trying to say. Don’t take all of your hatred against Trump or the fact that other people hate Trump so much and let that cloud you as to what’s going to be said here. Go ahead and play Faith Healers in Iowa, Jacob.
Faith Healers Video: Gates of hell will not prevail against him. We speak this over him. Lord, I pray for protection over him. I pray for protection over his family. And Lord, that all the weapons formed against them will not prosper. Lord they will come to nothing and the traps that we laid against them. And people that laid the traps they will be caught in their own traps. So, Father, we thank you now. Lord for great favor. Amen. And I pray Lord that trust in you. You always understand. Acknowledge you and always wait Lord. I trust you that you will direct his path. And Lord, there is a great victory not only for this nation but for the world, because the calling and that you place on this ministry. We say this in agreement. Right now, and Lord, we thank you that it should be done by our father in heaven. Amen.
Timothy: Jacob, did they get all the boxes checked there?
Jacob: I think…
Timothy: This is likable legalism out there. Go ahead. Did they get all the boxes checked?
Jacob: I think so. We covered Trump’s going to win Jesus’ name. The people who are setting the traps. They themselves will be traps. Yes, it was very much a checklist.
Timothy: Oh, well then it went down to we’re all in agreement here Lord.
Jacob: Yeah, we’re in agreement.
Timothy: Alright, so see those are the checkpoints. Okay yeah, we want this and then we’re all in agreement and we pray this prayer. And by the way that Isaiah 54:17. That’s a like legalism. You can buy that everywhere, right? No weapon forged against you will prevail and you will refute every tongue that accuse you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication for me declares the Lord. That’s the promise they’re praying over Trump. Praying over Trump. Now is Trump a saint?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Is he remotely on any level a Christian?
Jacob: No.
Midpoint
Timothy: No, all he does is again we’re seeing what?? They like their own life; they like the culture. I get all that, we don’t want the turmoil, we don’t want the suffering, all of that’s there. So, they support Trump but even the promise that they’re praying over Trump. Trump doesn’t qualify for that promise. This is the heritage of the Servants of the Lord. Trump’s life is not Christianity, not on any level. Trump needs to come to repentance. He needs to be, does Trump hate and despise money Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Now there may be somebody out there that they hear me saying that and go, what’s he talking about, right?
Jacob: Sure.
Timothy: Despise money, where’s those scriptures? Jesus said, you have to hate the one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and money. It’s kind of that simple. Trump is not known, people don’t look at him and go, oh you hate money and you despise money. You’re some weird Christian. They should be praying for him to repent. What this is, and we’re going to get look at this probably in a year or so on mockers. They’re just mocking back without really any thinking or spirituality or the message of the Cross. Particular, likable legalistic principles and promises, they like and just praying that over and assuming it’s going to happen. That’s one of the first tactics that Satan uses. Go to Luke chapter 4 verse 9. Luke 4:9, go ahead and read 9-11 Jacob.
Jacob: Luke 4 verse 9. “The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “Throw yourself down from here. For it is written:” ‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ “
Timothy: Satan’s quoting scripture. “No Weapon will prevail against. Isn’t he could have quoted the passage we just looked at, right? In Isaiah.
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: But it’s coming from Satan. It’s coming from our vantage point the sinful nature of man. It’s coming from selfishness. It’s not coming from the message of the Cross. These people are literally mocking the things of God and praying over a man that should never had his, you lay your hands on that man at all. You can pray for his repentance. You can rebuke him and present the gospel to him. You can even vote for him as a politician if that’s what you so choose to do. But to align yourself and to bring in some promise like this that oh God will protect you is to move into the same thing that Satan did. And it’s just Satan quoting scripture to poor Donald at this point, because he’s hearing these promises and being puffed up in it. Saying, oh just cast your off, you overcome all these liars. Any comments on that? It’s just such an ugly vile laying on of hands even on the surface of things.
Jacob: Do you think Trump actually believes these Christian people, the Christian crowds? Does he actually believe it? Does he just go, ah well, maybe if it helps or may, you know what I mean? I don’t know. What’s he, because when you’re sitting there when you watch the video you don’t actually see like the front of his face, but it even kind of has this feel. Because they’re all into it, they’re into it, right? Everybody’s got their hands forward, they’ve got their eyes, they’re saying yes whatever. But you know what? He’s not sitting there shaking his head or he doesn’t seem into it and I’m using air quotes. So, I just wonder does he actually even believe these people? I don’t know.
Timothy: You raise a good question. I think he doesn’t know what to do with them.
Jacob: He goes along, because why not. It’s not a bad thing.
Timothy: Well yeah, you’re certainly into, there can only be selfish Modis for sure. If there was any love for God, he’d tell them to get lost.
Jacob: Because he doesn’t turn to them. He doesn’t turn them and go, Amen brother or you know what I mean? He’s not really.
Timothy: He’s not part of that culture. He doesn’t know to do that doesn’t know what to do with it.
Jacob: Correct, which is hilarious. Because there how except even, you know what I mean?? Even the church I’m using air quotes, he’s not even going along with it. He’s not even playing the game that they’re playing. So, how would you even lump him in that he’s one of you?
Timothy: How could you be a Babylon B that tricks Elon Musk into the most ludicrous of statements about Jesus and everybody go or well not everybody. Millions of people go viral with oh Elon Musk is a Christian and they’re asking the question and debating it. How can you do that? They’re just completely delusional and void of the Gospel call. I think at this point he does believe it. He’s been so far along in this thing and he is so heavily persecuted from a political standpoint and prosecuted and opposed and all the things that go on. And then he’s also got this huge success that’s on the other side of who he is. I don’t think at this point he’s turning to and going like I’m just neutral and indifferent. I think he really believes he is being used of God and see to a certain level that is kind of used of God.
Jacob: Well, there’s certain truth to that.
Timothy: But not in the way that he thinks.
Jacob: No.
Timothy: That kind of make sense?
Jacob: Yeah, it makes sense.
Timothy: Alright, so since we have these group of mockers in this room laying their hands. Well, let me first establish something real quick. Let’s go to first Timothy chapter 5 verse 22 and let’s look at a command to actually obey or a principle to actually allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives or a concept that the spirit of a Holy Spirit that baptizes us with fire and purity will work within us to have a love for Jesus Christ that will come out that would just refute all of this both emotionally, logically, and every way spiritually. First Timothy 5:22, “Do not be hasty in the laying out of hands”. Consider who you’re laying hands on. Do not be hasty. He’s writing, Paul’s writing to Timothy “Of the laying on hands and do not share in the sins of others”. There is this distance. The church from Trump. He’s not a disciple of Jesus Christ. So, you don’t go lay hands on these kinds of individuals. That’s to give your approval. Actually, it’s worse than that. They are really saying to the Lord, Lord we are with Trump. We’re on his side. Do they realize that’s what they’re saying?
Jacob: Yeah, to them though it’s one and the same because they think that Trump is blessed and being used of God therefore that’s the side to be on. But yes, I understand what you’re saying.
Timothy: Sure, and they’re being blessed of God and whatever all of the smiling Jack Jesus cultural Christianity. I hear what you’re saying. But to look at Trump and go, you don’t have some sins to pay for. Says, “Do not share in the sins of others. That laying on a handson is to be done with a lot of fear and trembling and sinking the holy spirit. Because you literally are putting your hands on another person and saying, I’m united with them in this spiritual thing that we’re doing. And this is on show, this is on TV, this is in video. This is now so exaggerated because obviously we know the is good, right? It’s got scripture. It’s got the whole bid. It’s going to save America. It’s going to bring back whatever it’s going to bring back, right?
So, somebody else builds on it. That’s how these things always do. They pray for and lay hands on him. Now, somebody wants to get 1 million people to lay hands on with those who laid a hands-on Trump. And I gave you the link there and you can bring it up for other people to look at. So, the goal now is to get a million people to sign up to lay on hands with these people who laid on hands with Trump.
Jacob: Oh, so they want every, the people that were in the room, the people that we saw, they got a picture of it. Those people to lay hands on with those people?
Timothy: Well, I’m speaking
Jacob: For prayers. Talking about prayers.
Timothy: In other words, if you go to “Breitbart.com” there, I’ve got the link there. That gives you the actual Iowa delegate delayed hands.
Jacob: Oh.
Timothy: If you go to the site of “100PercentFedUp.com”, they now have a building on that saying, sign this petition or do these things to be in agreement with them. It’s that old agreement thing that goes on in the spiritual cloud people.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: But they’re trying to get 1 million people. So, what I’m saying is in a spiritual sense they are literally laying hands on what those people who laid hands. They’re all in agreement saying that we all agree with this thing at this point.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: Not realizing they’re falling for the powerful delusion that Corinthians talks about a false Christianity. A smiling Jack Jesus. A cultural conservative Christian. However, you want a worded type of movement that has nothing to do with saving their souls. Nothing to do with saving other people’s souls, but has everything to do with a political save our culture kind of thing. Can we keep our freedom for a little while longer, right Jacob?
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: Alright. Well, what is supposed to happen even if the scriptures, well the scriptures are there true but they don’t apply to us at this time. Because we’re only headed one direction. Jacob, go ahead and play the clip that’ll read from Revelation chapter 13 verse 10 and let me set this up a little bit. This is talking about the end days and the church is out there talking about this could be the war about bringing an Armageddon and everybody is sensing or saying that they’re sensing that this is the end game time and I’m not sure about that but it’s the end game war of all wars, right?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Well, if that’s true, there’s no saving Trump. There’s no saving America. That’s ludicrous. You can’t have both at the same time. If you just backed up and said, okay, let’s just say for a moment that we’re on the verge of Armageddon and the end of the world. What should you be preparing the church for? Laying on a hand of Trump. No, Trump shouldn’t even be bothered with that if that’s true. He should be going look I want to be a part of that. I mean because all the nations are going to hate Israel and I’ll wind up hating them in the end because Satan control. I mean he’s not backing up looking at the situation.
In Revelation 13, this talks about where the Christian church or the disciples of Jesus Christ are headed toward the end times. This is what all these ministries and all of these news organizations and all. This should be what’s plastered to prepare the church for, not just the accept of the scripture but how we become strong enough to stand up to what’s about to happen. Revelation 13:10 is what is about to happen to America and to the world. Go for it, Jacob. Play it.
Video: If you have ears to hear, then hear. Consider: Christians will not escape the oppression of the one with perfect self-esteem. Let us consider the following passages. Revelation 13:10. “He who has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity, he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness and a part of the saints”.
Daniel 11:37. “He will show no regard for the Gods of his fathers or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any God but will exalt himself above them all”.
Daniel 7:23. “The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it”.
Daniel 7:25. “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time. Times and half a time”.
Revelation 13:2-9. “Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?” The beast was given a mouth to out of proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for 42 months. He opened his to blasphemed God and to slander his name in his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the book of life, belonging to the lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. He who has an ear. Let him hear.”
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4. “Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and are being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord is already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God”.
Luke 21:16-17. “You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. All men will hate you because of me”.
Matthew 24:9:12. “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other. Because of the increase of wickedness. The love of most will grow cold”. Timothy: As I watch that and listen to it again, man that is just sobering. And how we can March into and lay hands-on individuals and claim promises that are out of step with the holy spirit. It’s not time for that kind of overcoming. Listen we’re not going to get that kind of overcoming until we’ve lost the battle. It’s only when Jesus Christ comes back that we win the war. So, let’s focus in on one particular passage out all. Any comment on that Jacob? Anything because there’s nothing rosy looking at this from a worldly point of view, right?
Jacob: No, there’s nothing rosy. It’s weird how even like the church just how twisted and backwards it is, but even by their own logic. Because most I’m pretty sure the vast majority of churches today believe in like a pre-rapture. We’re going to be out of here. You’re not going to suffer pretty much most of those scriptures that were just…
Timothy: Well, they don’t applied.
Jacob: They don’t even apply. But then isn’t there a weird, because if that’s true and if you truly believe it then why would you even bother the laying the hands of trump. Why would you bother, who cares you’re going to be gone? So, what are you trying to save? You should be happy because you’re going to be gone. You know what I mean? Like they supposed doctrinal views of the end times don’t even line up.
Timothy: You’re correct. It’s not consistent because it’s the other way around. If you’re getting raptured out, we want to pray for the worst government in the United States to actually win the election. So, everything goes trashing down. So, we want the economy to go, we want our gold to be worthless, we want our silver investments, our 401K and our retirement. All those things disappear, because then Jesus is [INAUDIBLE 41:51].
Jacob: You’re going to be rapture or then even if you wanted to play the super neutral even if you aren’t yeah, jumping up and down you certainly wouldn’t be laying your hands on Trump. You should just be chillaxing at home enjoying if your 401K as long as you can but then don’t worry when the 401K runs out, you’ll be raptured out.
Timothy: You don’t pass out your tracks on weekends and stuff.
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: But I hear you.
Jacob: But it doesn’t make sense at all. Even their version of it.
Timothy: That’s why scripture says how long will you mockers delight in mockers, mockery and hate knowledge. There’s no knowledge behind what they’re doing.
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: Suppose Charlie Kirk does save the culture of America and whatever that means. Well, that doesn’t mean 6 minutes later that the end time isn’t going to happen and then what you do? You spend all your time doing what and gaining one. Nice artwork to go look at or your frame of speech is certainly not, I don’t want to get too far out there. The botPaul line is the church and we’re again we’re headed for betrayal and the love of most growing cold and a rejection of the truth. Revelation 13 is what we’re going to kind of have to focus on and finish up with because if all these ministries were really understanding the time in which we lived. We will be teaching the church this. If anyone is to go into captivity into captivity, he will go.
Every pastor in this nation, every preacher should be teaching, okay, this is how in Jesus Christ you should go into captivity to glorify his name. We should be demonstrating our delight and insults, persecution, hardships because I keep losing. We shouldn’t be talking about trying to save a culture or save individual. We should about preaching the gospel to everyone as everything collapses around us. Where’s the love actually for Trump or where’s the real love for Elon Musk or for all of these people, these big people we’d like to see come to God. Where’s love for them? Because Elon Musk for all the good that he is doing and I’m using good in a worldly sense and you can’t help but appreciate at least he’s a sensible person, right?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: But he’s ushering in the thing that’s going to take us captive.
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: That may not be intention that’s not what he’s after but that’s going to be the result. Everything he’s working on and doing is only bringing about the anti-Christ ever closer and the church just doesn’t seem to realize it. Now should Elon must continue to do investment? Sure, as a disciple of Jesus and Jesus would direct him whatever needs to be done. But that’s a different story. Revelation 13:10, “If anyone is to go into captivity, he will go into captivity”. See it’s already established. God looks out at everybody whether if you claim the name of Christian, he’s going to choose something for you. Whether you’re a real disciple not, it doesn’t matter but whoever you are, disciple of Jesus or cultural Christianity, you claim his name, he’s already determined, okay, this is what’s going to happen to you or to your children. If nothing else, we should be training our children how to be arrested by the FBI or to be arrested by the local authorities. Are they not practicing to do very thing.
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: If any, it’s I don’t like it either but I rejoice in it and I delight in it. You have to follow Jesus Christ to understand exactly what I just meant by that. If anyone is to go into captivity into captivity, he will go. This is not an option. You can’t pray yourself out of it. You can’t lay hands on Trump and expect to be delivered from it. “If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword, he will be killed” Look, it’s set down as solid as all the other promises are it down. Here again we’re back to that likable legalism. Who has this likable legalism that you can go buy at the Christian bookstore Jacob?
Jacob: You mean this particular verse?
Timothy: Yeah, Revelation 13:10.
Jacob: Yeah, no I don’t think it’s on a plaque.
Timothy: Is there a veggie tale silly song on this one?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Not that. Are there any children’s songs on this one?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: Any super books on this one? Well, certainly not. I was going to go Disney but Like whatever. Yeah, there’s probably Disney that they were going to take Christian’s captive. If anyone is to be killed with a sword, he will be it’s in there somewhere. That’s where we’re headed and in this particular passage where in Daniel gives you one other option. But these are the two here, right? Captivity or killed right? That’s it.
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: I would suggest every disciple Jesus goes say Lord which one is it for me? I’m not telling you he’s going to tell you. Not at all. But I would ask and if nothing if you think you’re going to get out of this like you’re old enough and you’re on your way out. I will be praying, well Lord what about this child over here or this person next door that’s young enough to see all these things? Lord, what about them? What are they going to do? How can I encourage them? How can I teach them? How can I show them? Where are the they’re out there? But they’re busy working the preachers. And the pastors out there that are warning their congregation and saying, let’s pray for a spirit of discernment in this congregation to see who’s going to be in captivity and who’s to be killed. Have you heard that kind of prayer called Jacob?
Jacob: No.
Timothy: If anyone is to be killed with a sword with a sword, he will be killed. That’s just, it’s solid. This calls for not your normal rejoicing always in weakness and hardship. Not your everyday kind of thing, because that’s all through scripture, right? Aren’t we supposed to rejoice, always give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus, right?
Jacob: Yeah.
Timothy: I’ve had to memorize that one because I had to get that in my heart early on as a Christian. All of that’s just everyday normal persecution and all the things that I’ve been through and all the opposition. That’s just been normal. Everything that I’ve experienced throughout following and be the disciple of Jesus Christ in terms of oppositions and suffering Jesus Christ. That’s normal stuff and yet that’s kind of out of the norm. Now we’re talking about the captivity or being killed by the sword and God makes a point to go, look, this is going to call for patient endurance. Not just an endurance but an endurance that Comes from patience. It’s like, okay yeah, this is what’s supposed to come. This is what’s going to happen. I’m not worried about who’s president because I know what’s going to happen. There’s a patient endurance. Okay, we got to wait for this thing to go through. It’s got to finish what’s going to happen.
Now not just patient endurance. Because it’s not just a matter of me selfishly. Oh, I want to go to heaven so I’m going to endure the antichrist. That just sounds silly, doesn’t it? But I mean they know how to break you. You do not think our government right now is practicing through all the things they’re doing and discovering that this is what breaks people, the great falling away, the great betrayal, they’re experts at creating this. It will take the grace of God to stand against those things. People should be looking at what our government’s doing in a fearful kind of way of what’s coming because they’re taking notes. They’re practicing on all these things and it’s going to come hard against Christians. They’re almost there now. It’s like the signs are all there and they’re giving an inch on anything.
So, it’s all underneath getting ready to happen. This calls for patient endurance. There’s going to be the joyful always that’s in the heart. Think of when Jesus was crucified right? We’re supposed to rejoice always in Christ. Well, was Jesus rejoicing always on the cross Jacob?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Because he obeyed in everything.
Jacob: Correct.
Timothy: So, was he rejoicing always?
Jacob: Yes.
Timothy: Yes, he was. You may not be able to see it. It may not look like it. When I went through the last persecution that went on, it devastated me in a lot of ways but I was rejoicing always. This calls for patient endurance and you can’t just endure because that’s the place you in the position of selfishness just like these people. Okay, I want to go to heaven so I’m just going to endure. So, who’s the end goal for? The end goal is for yourself. Because and faithfulness on the part of the saints. One of the things suffering, does is it draws us out of that selfish love for God and causes us to rise above our selfishness and to finally do something out of a selfless love for God. That’s one reason God brings these things. And God wants to show the world as it begins to hate all Christians that there are those who follow him out of a selfless love. Jacob, take us out of here.
