Washington State Right Rape

The Christians, even the lukewarm ones, had better wake up to the hot-n-heavy-hatred by Washington State Officials.

See City of Enumclaw Hatecrime and King County Prosecutors if you think these things are minor matters.

Think jury duty when you are accussed and be afraid, very afraid.

Bet you are mighty proud Judge Lori K Smith.

First mistake, getting to know a cop.

Second mistake, these are the cops supporting those who undermine your freedom of religion.

Third mistake, too late.

Seattle Suburb Cancels ‘Coffee with a Cop’ Event Due to Backlash Against Shop Owner’s Christian Beliefs

A planned "Coffee with a Cop" event in a Seattle suburb has been canceled following protests related to the Christian views of the coffee shop owner.

According to Seattle radio host Jason Rantz, the city of Shoreline, Washington, decided to cancel the community event, which was intended to foster closer relationships between police officers and residents, after its Facebook page was inundated with negative comments from those upset about Pilgrim Coffeehouse hosting the gathering.

Pilgrim Coffeehouse is owned by Keith Carpenter, who is also the head pastor of Epic Life Church. The church’s website states its belief that marriage is defined as between "one man and one woman."

Commenters expressed intentions to protest, with one user even suggesting the shop should leave the city, arguing that Carpenter’s marriage views conflicted with the progressive values of the community.

Shoreline faced pushback from LGBTQ activists who threatened to demonstrate against the event. One commenter, using the name "Sounder Sam," criticized the decision to select a "homophobic" venue and alerted others about a planned "pro LGBTQIA2S+ protest" set for the day of the event.

In light of the backlash, Shoreline abruptly canceled the event. The city stated, "It was neither the department’s nor the City’s intent to make any community member feel unwelcome based on the selection of the event venue and the values that the venue may or may not hold. When planning future events, we will be more intentional with our venue selection."

The cancellation announcement drew mostly supportive responses. One commenter noted, "Thank you, Shoreline!!!! My family feels a little bit safer in our neighborhood now thanks to this decision."

Responding publicly, Carpenter emphasized the various ways his church supports the community and assured that everyone would be treated with respect in his coffee shop. He expressed concern about the cancellation in an interview with Rantz, labeling it a form of discrimination while refraining from playing the "victim card."

Carpenter acknowledged the criticism but stated that his establishment welcomes anyone, regardless of their backgrounds or identities. He remarked, "We serve anybody who walks in the door… Anybody who walks in that space will get the same exact beautiful, generous, generously hospitable treatment."

He pointed out the inconsistency in the city’s actions, suggesting they conveyed a message contrary to inclusivity by excluding his business from the community event.

A spokesperson for the City of Shoreline reiterated their commitment to being a welcoming community for all individuals, regardless of their beliefs. The spokesperson explained that the "Coffee with a Cop" event’s purpose was to facilitate discussions about public safety, and when it became entangled with issues unrelated to that purpose, it was ultimately canceled. They also indicated that future events would only take place at public facilities.
