Punishment of False Witnesses
For now, let us keep it short and simple.
All who are false witnesses, or support false witnesses, fail to silence1 false witness will be found out and punished – unless they repent.
- A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free. (Proverbs 19:5)
When Prosecutors and Judges simply "listen" to False Witnesses, indeed, all, including jurors who "listen" to a False Witness will perish.
Perish in terms of "destroyed forever."
- A false witness will perish, and whoever listens to him will be destroyed forever. (Proverbs 21:28)
