Let’s quote God: “tell the people the – full message – of this new life.”
On this site is the extreme basics of what it means to be a disciple following Jesus.
It is the full message of the gospel that everyone should be declaring and living.
This is why God stated in 1 Timothy 5:16, “Watch your life and doctrine closely.”
Let me repeat that: watch your – “life” – and – “doctrine” – “closely.”
The full gospel has nothing to do with the powerful delusion Christianity that God has swept the world with.
“Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people the full message of this new life.” (Acts 5:20)
Do not deceive yourself and do not let yourself be deceived. Put away that selfishness that is only concerned in an assumption that “you are saved.”
1/3 gospel is the most liberal of Christian that should not be referred to as Christian on any level. They ignore most Scriptures, and are extremely contemptible to contemplate. These are the most liberal of Christians, always taking the Lord’s name in vain.
1/2 gospel have a few things correct on a doctrinal level. They may even live a small portion of those few Scriptures but are the slave-Christians that have zero clue about the mind of Christ. They are clueless about what God is really up to with the crucified life. This is why Jesus said, in the end they will not be saved. Such are soft, cozy and comfortable Christians held up by the Christian culture.
3/4 gospel are those who will acknowledge serious doctrines but shrink from the offense of the cross. They reject, ignore and soften the offense that would offend and crucify sins in a person’s life. Such are often “Biblical” preachers that are scriptural but not offensive by the power of the Holy Spirit. The legalistic, hell and brimstone preachers fall into this category, along with the preacher who preaches just enough of the offense of the cross to make members falsely believe they are walking the narrow road.
4/4 gospel are those who have entered through the narrow gate, walk a narrow road and obey all that the Holy Spirit leads in. This is the gospel call that comes with power because such disciples are willing to hate their own lives and say “yes” to God in everything. Such follow Jesus to the place of trouble in prayer. Then go out in God’s will to suffer with Jesus on the cross. As Peter knew and wrote: “Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.” (1 Peter 4:1)
Jesus said, and demonstrated how everyone should walk as He walked. (See 1 John 2:6)
The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. “Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. (John 12:25-27)
Jesus refutes the just ask Him into your heart delusional Christianity when He declares: “Shall I say, ‘Father, save me from this hour’?”. For you see the 1/3, 1/2 and 3/4 all want saved from the cross in their lives.
Whereas the 4/4 disciple of Jesus forcefully enters the garden, wrestles with God concerning the cross and sin in their life, then goes out into the world to be crucified with Christ.
The 4/4 Christian is often persecuted or ignored not just by the world but by the 1/3, 1/2 and 3/4 claim-the-name-of-Jesus crowd.
After all, the only reason a church is not slanderously called a “cult” is because there are not enough disciples of Jesus in that church loving each other by the power of the Living God.
