Disciple

Timothy has been, and is, a disciple of Jesus. Meaning Timothy is being discipled and disciplined by the Living God. Timothy knows for sure he is nothing special because God keeps telling Him such is true. It is called God-given humility.

He has been following hard after Jesus by picking up his cross, denying himself,3 hating his own life,2 living as though he were not married,1 despising the dollar,4 and not associating with hypocritical Christians5 while seeking to obey the whole gospel as the Holy Spirit empowers and directs to be done.

Such powerful holy love from the Holy Spirit for others and God few surrender their lives to have while fewer appreciate. Fact is, Sound Doctrine Church was experiencing this Godly love until it was destroyed by a corrupt cop, King County Prosecutors and vile slanders.

Who… drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men (1 Thessalonians 2:15)

Timothy has been heavily persecuted, slandered and reviled on many dark levels.

Jesus promised that if anyone seeks to live a holy life, they will be persecuted. Best to get use to it and overcome the lies you have heard if you desire to blessed, really blessed by the Living God.7

This has been going on for over 45 years because he seeks to preach and obey the complete gospel.

See Whole Gospel Notes for more information.

Timothy Does Not Follow The Bible

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. (John 5:39-40)

Timothy does not follow the Bible. He does not idolize written text. Rather, Timothy follows Jesus, who leads him into understanding and obeying the Scriptures.6

Listen to any podcast, sermon or read any books, and you will discover that Timothy preaches the Word without idolizing ink on paper.
