Everything on The Consider Podcast and website has to do with the call for all men and women to repent. Such is an offer of mercy for those willing to follow Jesus by hating their life and picking up their cross. After all, even the demons believe in God, but they are terrified. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that–and shudder. James 2:19
Pardons A Murder
Then governor Jay Inslee, on his way of out pardons a murder.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Isaiah 5:20
Can Washington State invert the meaning of law and order any worse?
Sadly the answer is yes.
After all the current governer is Governor Bubble-Head Bob Ferguson, aka, Attorney General Fentanyl Ferguson who destroyed border saftey so that drugs flooded into the United States, flower grandma crusher, safe border destroyer for those entering the country, anti-free "misinformation" speech, supports "strong" public school peversions to steal children from parents, freedom of religion crusher, destroyer of due process according to the Bill of Rights, hate crime protector, corrupt cop encourager, promoter of false accusations, extreme gender ideology, divider of individuals etc.
Once again it is not amazing that a righteous Christian Church in the City of Enumclaw was devasted by prosecutors and police. Police that setup, framed up and protected a hate crime because it suited Detective Grant McCalls religious bias.

"Pauley is a manipulative, cunning individual who has adeptly navigated this Board and the system."
On his final day in office, Washington Governor Jay Inslee signed an order permitting the release of a notorious killer from prison, neglecting to implement protections for the victims’ families. This order was signed just one day after one of the victim’s families buried their mother, a survivor of the 1980 massacre.
Documents obtained by The Ari Hoffman Show revealed that Inslee overturned a decision he made in 2022 to deny the Indeterminate Sentencing Review Board’s (ISRB) recommendation to grant parole to Timothy Pauley, who was convicted of killing three individuals in a bar in 1980.
In 2022, after learning of ISRB’s intention to grant Pauley parole, the families of the victims launched an extensive pressure campaign that resulted in Inslee denying the parole request at that time.
Upon rescinding his order in January, the day he left office, family members of Pauley’s victims informed Hoffman that they had not been informed about Pauley’s imminent release, set for March 27, and that no conditions had been placed on him to ensure their safety.
Kelley Tarp, a daughter of one of the victims, shared her distress with The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, stating, "Apparently, he and his attorney have been in contact with Inslee. We are unaware of the content of those communications, but whatever it was led Governor Inslee to rescind his original order from 2022 and allow his release. We were notified on January 15th, the day before we lay our mom to rest, and it has left us grappling with the overwhelming feeling of having once again been denied justice. There is a total lack of transparency in this system."
Pauley is set to reside with his sister in Bonney Lake, WA, just minutes away from some of the victims’ family members. In 2022, his sister had expressed that having him live with her was "not a good fit," yet what has changed remains uncertain.
The families reported that they were not given the letter Inslee received from Pauley and his attorney in October 2024 that prompted the governor’s change of heart. Previously, Inslee denied Pauley’s parole on the grounds of his failure to take responsibility or apologize. However, in his rescission order, Inslee claimed Pauley displayed “remorse” and accepted responsibility, a sentiment that family members and psychological evaluators have disputed, labeling Pauley a “mass manipulator.”
The family has expressed frustration with the Department of Corrections for not providing the information Inslee utilized to authorize the release, forcing them to submit a FOIA request that will not be processed until after Pauley is released.
On June 12, 1980, Timothy Pauley and Scott Carl Smith committed a robbery at the Barn Door Tavern in SeaTac, Washington, resulting in the deaths of two men and one woman to eliminate any witnesses. Pauley has spent 40 years behind bars serving three life sentences and has consistently failed to meet conditions for release during multiple parole hearings.
After the tavern closed, Smith and Pauley returned, knocked on the door, and called out Loran Dowell’s name to lure him outside. When he opened the door, Smith threatened him with a knife while Pauley brandished a gun, forcing their way inside and compelling everyone present to the floor. They demanded money, which Loran informed them was on the bar’s counter. The pair then used electrical wires and phone cords to bind the victims.
Smith took Loran to the kitchen while Pauley remained armed and kept watch over the others. Upon Smith’s return, he compelled the women to disrobe and forced them into the bathroom while restraining them and inflicting injuries, including slashing Maggie Dowell’s chest. After fleeing the scene, they left the victims behind.
After regaining consciousness, Maggie managed to loosen her bindings, freeing both herself and Sherri. They dressed and soon discovered the body of Linda Burford hanging from the stage, followed by finding the bodies of Maggie’s husband and Robert Pierre in the kitchen.Tarp previously shared with The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, "They left that night believing they had killed everyone," but her mother and Sherri survived.
Pauley is serving three life sentences and has been seeking early release. Despite maintaining a clean record in prison, both men have numerous prior convictions, and the victims’ families argue that his "…rehabilitation is an act." Kelley expressed to Hoffman, "We are the ones who have served the life sentence, not him."
The Dowell family lawyers state that "…during Smith’s trial, Pauley repeatedly declined to provide any statements or assist in the prosecution. He has claimed to have information that could aid in uncovering the truth but feels that cooperating might lead him to face consecutive life sentences and potentially end up in protective custody due to his cooperation."
A letter from Pauley to his brother, dated February 9, 2012, was characterized by the lawyers as revealing how Pauley’s "…mind works and reflecting more accurately who he is today. The letter exemplifies his arrogance and sense of entitlement. Pauley possesses high intelligence and understands how to speak and act in ways that manipulate his circumstances. The letter included potentially menacing language directed towards DOC staff members."
The ISRB has previously suggested, "One cannot help but question the genuineness of his achievements in programming." In 2020, Pauley’s attorney submitted a request for his immediate release citing "cruel and unusual punishment" and a breach of his constitutional rights due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This request was denied by both the ISRB and the Washington State Supreme Court, as well as the Court of Appeals. Throughout this process, the families were not notified about Pauley’s appeals, including his COVID-related appeals from the ISRB or the victim liaison.
The family criticized this process, calling it a farce, and told Hoffman, "Pauley is a manipulative, cunning person who has effectively played the Board and the system. When you assess everything collectively, a person who has persistently pursued release for the past decade (or 40 years when considering everything) and cannot cope with the slightest change or disruption in his routine, showing unwarranted anger and frustration, is not someone who has been rehabilitated."
The family remarked, "We have been compelled to sift through hundreds of pages of documents and analyze each word to find evidence supporting our stance that Pauley is unfit for release. This is not a burden that victims and their families should endure. Being forced to revisit the murder of our father, Robert, and Linda, and what these two men inflicted upon our mother and Sherri, is a trauma my sister and I will carry forever. We manage to suppress the pain and grief at times, but the memories surge back as we grapple with this awful, unjust system that leaves us feeling powerless and re-victimized."
