Loving God With All Consider

Table of Contents

To love God with all, we must first hate our loves. Hate first, then God’s love will flow. This is the first and greatest commandment. Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves. So that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters, yes, even his own life. He cannot be my disciple. What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none. Husbands must love his wife as he loves himself. The man who loves his life will lose it. While the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Dear friends, let us love one another for love comes from God. Do not love the world or anything in the world. (Matthew 22:37, Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:9, Luke 14:26, Ephesians 5:1-2, 1 Corinthians 7:29, Ephesians 5:33, John 12:25. 1 John 4:7, 1 John 2:15).

The Consider Podcast attempts to express opinions through God’s holiness. Nothing concerning justice or injustice should be taken as legal advice or a call to action. There is no political agenda. There is no individual moral life advice. Indeed, each person is solely responsible before God and man for their actions or inactions. The Consider Podcast is narrowly focused on one thing, and only one thing – the need for all to surrender to a life of repentance according to the whole gospel.
