This is exactly why God is starting to the judge the “Christian Church”. Such rebellious believers are sinfully doing as they see fit – Jesus is not their King.
It is not called the book of Judges for no reason.
In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit. (Judges 21:25)
Like the golden calf, they put “Jesus” on it say “holy.” (Exodus 32)
