Jesus said, I do not accept praise from men. But I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. Not that I accept human testimony. But I mention it that you may be saved. Then apostle Paul wrote, are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you. Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone. And even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him and you know that our testimony is true. (John 5:41-42, John 5:34, 2 Corinthians 3:1, 3 John 1:12).
