How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity. It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Herman were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being likeminded. Having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. But in humility, consider others better than yourselves. Finally, brothers, good-bye. Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind. Live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. (Psalm 133:1-3, Philippians 2:1-3, 2 Corinthians 13:11).
